Our Story
Dedication and Service
Founded in July of 2023, The Dahyabhai Foundation serves as a tribute to our late grandfather, Dahyabhai Dharmabhai Patel. He dedicated his life to selflessly serving others. His compassionate actions included providing meals to underprivileged children in a nearby village and warmly welcoming teachers for tea during their breaks. He firmly believed that children should not bear the burden of misfortunes placed upon them at birth and strived to assist them whenever possible.
We hope to continue his legacy and spread the lessons and kindness that he shared with us to the rest of the world.

Projects

Filtered Water Cooler initiative
As the first mission of our organization, we are aiming to install filtered water coolers at over 20 primary schools in Gayatri Kampa (village in which Dahya Dada lived) and its neighboring villages in Gujarat, India with a filtered water cooler. Students commonly study outside or in rooms which lack proper cooling and with temperatures reaching the high 90s, it can be hard to focus on education.
